Hey, First name / you. No appointment this week? |
Here's what you can do instead |
Three coaching calls this week. Three different agents. Same expensive habit. They all know their leads are going cold. Warm leads stalling because "life happened" between the ask and the callback. I'll be honest, I've caught myself doing it too. |
This is the pattern most agents fall into: A lead comes in warm. You mean to call. Something urgent eats the afternoon. Three days pass and the lead is cold. Now multiply that by every name sitting in your database. |
Most people will call that a follow-up problem. I call it a money leak. Follow-up isn't the task you get to when everything else is done. It's the most expensive habit you're getting wrong, because the deal was already there. You just let it go quiet. Here's what you can do instead: stop treating follow-up as a feeling. Build it as a system. A system doesn't rely on you remembering. It runs whether you feel like it or not. |
Follow-up isn't the only place a system beats willpower. This week's Take It and Run - AI video applies the same idea to your market updates: I uploaded almost a thousand MLS records I never even opened, ran one copy-paste prompt in Claude Design, and walked away with nine finished pieces of content in about 10 minutes. Different task, same lesson. Build the system once and it works whether you feel like it or not. |
⚡Your Take it and RUN challenge: |
What you'll need: your CRM and 20 minutes (ahem… that means put this on your calendar and honor it 😉) Step 1 — Pull your last 90 days of leads. Filter for anyone with no contact in the last two weeks. Step 2 — Pick the top 10 warmest names off that list. Step 3 — Send this today: "Hey [Name], I dropped the ball on following up and I own that. Still thinking about [their goal]? I've got a couple ideas if you are." Step 4 — Track who replies. That's your call list for tomorrow. That's it. Twenty minutes. Ten warm leads back in play. |
I gave you the instructions, now it's your turn to take it and run! |
