✨ Today we covered:
✅ Ritual one, the weekly brain dump: Friday or Sunday, get everything out of your head and sort it into must-dos, good-to-dos, and bonus. Must-dos are the things that break if they do not happen... and your personal non-negotiables belong on that list too.
✅ Ritual two, the you-first morning: Move your body, nourish yourself, get ready, all before the phone. Then your first hour at the laptop is the work you love, not your inbox. Jenna's whole routine is about 45 minutes and involves a walking pad and a pair of earbuds. It is not a 12-step anything.
✅ Ritual three, the DND day: Pick one day a week where your default is unavailable for anything non-urgent. If a full day feels impossible, start with a three-hour block. Mine is Wednesday. Jenna's is Monday. Real fires are still fires... the point is that being reachable every minute is no longer the default.
✅ Ritual four, consult windows: Set two to three booking windows in the morning and two to three in the evening, and hold them. When someone wants to talk about a house at 7am, the answer is "I cannot wait, I have an opening at two." Structure is not poor service. The inspector gives you his available times and nobody thinks he is being difficult.
✅ Be proactive, not reactive: Start tracking WHY people are reaching out to you. If Sellers keep calling for updates, build a standing update day so they hear from you before they have to ask. Mine is Tuesdays, and they know it.
✅ The reframe underneath all of it: You are not separate from the thing you are building. Your body is part of the infrastructure holding it up. Jenna's two years of doing it this way have been her highest producing years yet.
