Hi First name / Friend,
I've spent the day working in my home office, which is really a balcony overlooking the English Channel. It's a very special place to coach and create from.
This is one of my two days a week in my coaching business. I live for these days. Coaching my clients, creating content for you, staring out to sea, walking by the sea, swimming in the sea…
These days may be few, but they are potent and rich.
I have no plans to quit my corporate role just yet. Honestly, I could care less about the construction industry. But I do care deeply about being the best version of myself that I can be, and that can be done by anyone, anywhere, in any context.
Right now, for me, it happens to be in the construction industry, whilst I'm also growing my coaching business.
You don't have to love your job or the industry. It isn't your job's job to make you happy. That's your job.
So whilst you're day dreaming about your escape from corporate I want you to be the best version of you.
And yes, I know that your boss is a nightmare and that you dread facing the same routine for the next however many years. I know that you feel stressed by the workload, frustrated by dinosaurs in the business, and under appreciated.
Whilst these things appear to be obstacles to your happiness and personal growth consider for a moment how it could also be true that these problems are indeed the way for you become happy and grow personally.
It's a subtle shift in perspective. A side step, if youb will, to view the problem from a different angle that shows it to us in a new light.
Noodle on that, and if you'd like to talk it through, I'm available on the phone for a quick chat. You can
