We are truly grateful for the amazing start we've had and it wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support of our wonderful families! Thank you for preparing your children so well and for staying engaged at home. We also appreciate all the support of our bake sale and helping us to raise funds!
Please keep up the great work by:
✅ Dropping students off on time
✅ Checking their folders for homework
✅ Logging into ALMA for updates
One other way to get a better understanding of what your child is doing at Al-Falah is by asking them. Try to make that car ride back home or the next shared meal after AFA an opportunity to make connections with your child and their learning. Ask them how school was, what they enjoyed, and if there’s anything they would like to discuss further.
If this Saturday is your child's first day of attendance at Al-Falah Academy and they did NOT check-in last week, please come inside with your child via Door 6 for Arabic students or Door 1 (Main Door) for all other students. We will check-in your child, confirm tuition payment, and share classroom information with you. After this first Saturday, your child will follow the regular drop-off procedures outlined below, along with all other students.
Parents may enter the lobby for check-in but are NOT permitted beyond the lobby for the safety of our students and staff.

🩺 Emergency Medical Information & Medications
Students with medical conditions that may require emergency treatment at school, such as food allergies, asthma, or seizure disorders, must bring their prescribed emergency medication and a physician-signed Emergency Action Plan (EAP) to school every Saturday.
Medications and the EAP should be kept in the student’s backpack so they are immediately available in an emergency.
Over the next couple of weeks, our health staff will be reviewing students’ EAPs and medications. You may receive a phone call from our health staff if they need to clarify or confirm any information.

Drop-Off
Arabic Program
- 8:45 AM | Door 6 — Students will line up according to their Arabic level inside the Small Gym and walk with their teacher to their classroom.
Regular Classes
- PreK, KG & 1st Grade: 10:00 AM | Door 6 — Students will meet their teachers in the Small Gym and walk together to their classrooms.
- 2nd–7th Grade & Youth Program: 10:00 AM | Door 1, Main Entrance — Students will enter thru the lobby and wait in the Large Gym until class begins.
- Special Needs Program: 10:00 AM | Door 24
Dismissal/Pick-Up
PreK, KG & 1st Grade
- 1:10 PM | Door 6 — A parent must come to pick up their child unless they have completed the sibling pick-up form (more information below).
2nd–7th Grade & Youth Program
- 1:30 PM | Doors 2, 3, or 4 — Please speak with your child about your family's meet-up location after school (e.g., by Door 3).
Special Needs Program
- 1:15 PM | Cafeteria Door — Please drive your car to the first cafeteria door entrance in the back of the building.
💰 Al-Falah Fundraiser for ICN – Support Our Masajid!
How can your family give back to our community and support the masajid that we benefit from every day? For the third year in a row, our Weekend School is teaching our students that being part of a community means more than simply attending; it means giving, serving, and contributing.
Each year, we connect this important lesson to a meaningful theme from our deen. We began by learning the 99 Names of Allah and putting that learning into action by contributing to the 99 Names sign at Masjid An-Noor. Last year, students explored different hadith and continued learning what it means to be good Muslim community members by supporting our masajid.
This year, that learning continues as we turn our attention to some of the greatest role models who lived by these teachings: Al-Ashara al-Mubasharun; the ten companions promised Jannah. Through their examples, we hope our students will not only learn about their lives, but also be inspired to follow their example of faith, service, generosity, and commitment to the Muslim community.
We're excited to launch our 2026-2027 ICN Fundraising Campaign, and your children are taking part in a meaningful way! Check their backpacks over the next two weeks for special fundraising envelopes and instructions.
Through classroom lessons and pre-salah talks, students are learning about the virtue of sadaqah and how the Sahaba were the best role models of giving, especially toward building and maintaining a masjid.
To bring this learning to life, students will participate in a fun fundraising game! All envelopes with donations should be returned to the school by Saturday October 17th. 🎁 Students will receive special incentives for the envelopes they return! Please be sure to visit the prize table outside of Door 5 (weather permitting) to collect your prizes.

👦🏾👧🏾 Sibling Pick-Up for PreK - 1st Grade
If you would like your 2nd Grade -Youth Program child to pick up a PreK-1st Grade sibling, please fill out this
Google Form.
Students who are authorized for sibling pick-up will be responsible for the following:
- Pick up their PreK–1st Grade siblings at 1:10 PM in the Small Gym.
- Accompany their siblings to the Big Gym and pray salah together. Please keep in mind that salah is gender-segregated.
- Exit the building with their siblings through Door 2 or Doors 3 or 4 of the Big Gym after salah and locate their parents outside.
Sibling pick-up will begin on September 19th, insha' Allah.

🎟️ Student Incentives
As part of our Positive Behavior Reinforcement efforts, we’re thrilled to kick off this year’s Student Incentive Program!
Students can now earn reward tickets in class for showing outstanding behavior, kindness, and responsibility. These tickets are more than just recognition, they’re the key to our Quarterly Reward Shop, where students can cash in their tickets for fun goodies and treats during lunchtime!
