Titan Nation, If we could describe this week in one word, it would be excellence. For the past several days, our campuses have celebrated the accomplishments of many of our scholars who have strived for excellence and reached new heights. At our Sunset Campus, eight of our graduating scholars were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program. We also had several scholars meet with representatives from Bentley University, the University of Delaware, and the University of Greenwich in an effort to prepare for the next step in their educational careers – college. At our Gateway campus, Asher Suarez, one of our seventh graders, had his art purchased by a major New York art dealer. In athletics, our athlete scholars are beginning to see the results of their hours of dedication. Separately, the True North Classical Foundation began selling foursomes for its second signature event of the school year – the Titan Golf Invitational. Below is your Weekly Scroll: |

2027 National MERIT SCHOLARS |
|
This week, our True North college counseling team announced that several of our scholars were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program. Specifically, three our our students, Milad Farajzadeh, Danielle Morrison, and Dillon Powell, were named as Semifinalists in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program. This prestigious recognition places these students among the highest-scoring participants in Florida and gives them the opportunity to continue competing for one of the National Merit Scholarship Program's highly selective scholarship. Additionally, Daniel Alonso, Leahn Cespedes, Eva Lacayo, Alvaro Lazo, and Travis Phinney have been named National Merit Commended Students. Approximately 34,000 students nationwide have earned this distinction, placing them among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program. Congratulations, scholars! |

University representative visits |
|
Representatives from Bentley University, the University of Delaware, and University of Greenwich in London stopped by our Sunset Campus.
During their visits, they had an opportunity to meet with several of our upper school scholars, answer any questions, and have candid conversations about life as an undergraduate student. This is just one example of the several steps taken by our college team to ensure that each student finds a school that suits their individual needs. |

Earlier this year, Asher Suarez’s artwork for the FIFA soccer tournament was selected for display at the Miami International Airport Art Exhibition.
While on display, his artwork caught the attention of a major art dealer from Petit Partners, a New York City-based art firm.
This is a remarkable accomplishment that exemplifies the commitment to excellence of our scholars and teachers. |

Our Golf team participated in the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair Boys Invitational and placed 4th overall! Our Golf program is still in its early stages and has made significant progress in the last three years. The outcome of this invitational is the result of hours of work and dedication from our athlete scholars. We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment. |
