It seems like I always start the Weekend Update with a weather report 😉, but after last weekend’s rain, this has been the perfect fall weekend. Highs in the 60s and low 70s, bright sunshine, blue skies.., ideal for a visit from my oldest son and his girlfriend.

 

We’ve been having a great time doing lots of quintessential Newport things: the Cliff Walk, the Audrain Car Show, cinnamon buns at Co-Dough, a tour of Rosecliff, lunch at the Elms Carriage House, and a fun visit with Uncle Ray. Today we’ll wrap it all up with dinner at 22 Bowen to celebrate his 28th birthday.

And I’m happy to report that I’m now on Day 7 in a row of #justgetdressed in a real outfit, thanks in no small part to my 8 a.m. text telling me what to wear. 👍🏼

 

Proof that yes, I do indeed use my own Fall Style System. 😂 And apparently I need it to keep me on track, too.
