At 7:53pm on Sunday night, we got a text from a memory care community. 

 

They had just moved in a new resident who was at risk of wandering out on his own and they needed someone with him one-on-one that night to keep him safe (and to keep the other residents and staff safe too).

 

Memory care communities usually aren't staffed for one-on-one care, so when this happens, the family is often asked to hire someone. That's where we come in.
 

By 9:00pm, we had completed the consult, talked with the family, and alerted our scheduling team, who were already reaching out to Care Pros about last-minute coverage.
