Welcome back to Beyond the Tour, where twice a month you’ll get clear, practical enrollment strategies you can put to work this week. Let's get started. |
|
If You Do One Thing This Week: |
|
💌 1. Are we relational enough? Most families are going to visit your admission landing page first. This is their first interaction with your school. Make it magical. Ask a parent ambassador who has a helpful, critical eye to take a look at your landing page and tell you what questions they have. - How can you make things more user-friendly for them?
- Are the dates listed only transactional (due dates for what you need from families) or are you being relational (welcome event, buddy brunch)?
- Is there a picture of your admission professionals?
- Is the language on the page helpful?
- Do you have a welcome letter? I hope you do.
Read each segment on your admission landing page and ask yourself “Is this transactional or relational?” Be more relational. You'll be glad you took that route. |
|
🏕️ 2. Work with Summer camps If your school runs a summer camp - or if a camp rents your faciliaty over the summer - market your school to those families. Start by connecting with whoever has the camp registration list and figure out how you can collaborate together. I love a good win-win. |
|
📶 3. Use your real estate well. Speaking of your website, use your faculty page as a tool to share about the school. Parents on that page are looking to learn more about your school already. Do some selling without having to say a word. Check out the faculty page for Hill Country Christan School of Austin. They have a whimsical and thoughtful take on sharing their faculty with families. Be in touch with me if you need help getting started. |

Enquiry Tracker is a purpose-built admissions and enrollment platform for K–12 schools. It replaces scattered spreadsheets by bringing inquiries, tours, applications, events, and enrollments into one centralized system: - Online forms,
- Event registrations,
- Personalized communications,
- Pipeline tracking, and
- Real-time reporting.
So admission teams and school leadership always know where each family stands. But it's more than software; Enquiry Tracker helps schools build warmer, more professional relationships while easing administrative workload. Trusted by hundreds of schools worldwide, Enquiry Tracker enables smarter, data-informed decisions that boost conversion, resulting in higher admissions rates, stronger engagement, and sustainable enrollment growth. I love a good win-win. |
