Hi First name / Quilty Friend,

Welcome to the Quiltblox Newsletter! I'm delighted to have you as a member of this creative community!

In this edition: Quilting tools - when to save and when to splurge and a few of my favorite quilty treasures.

Some quilting tools are non-negotiable because they make my stitching more comfortable, help me work accurately, or simply make my time at the machine more enjoyable. Within reason, price isn't the issue for these must-haves. Other purchases? I'm perfectly willing to get creative and find a thrifty alternative that works just as well.

Here are some of the tools I choose to splurge on, why they're worth it to me, and a few ways I save so I can invest in the things that matter most. And I'll explain about that brick ...

Reader Question
I could use your help answering a reader question. Diane reached out to me with a question about spray-basting products. She's looking for a lightweight spray-basting adhesive that won't gum up the needle and that does not need to be washed out. She's read about some that evaporate or wear off after a few days but needs some suggestions.

I don't use spray basting products because I have asthma, so I could use your help answering this question. Have a suggestion? Just reply to this email and let me know. I'll share your suggestions with Diane and in a future newsletter.
