I’m sure in so many different scenarios we have said this to ourselves. But it definitely hit different this year. I’ve gone through so many “if I only knew” scenarios since March and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
When it comes to starting our own business we will have a lot of if only conversations.
If only I had access to…
If only I had the money to…
If only I had more time to…
And the number one thought right now during COVID-19, If I only knew where the world will be in 3 months…
We are all human and having these thoughts are normal and expected. BUT we should take a moment every now and again to address those of statements and the true reasons behind them. Because as business owners we have the responsibility to follow up with a solution. That solution could be seeking God for guidance on what to do next, working with a business advisor to push past those mental blocks, or even devising a plan to obtain whatever is you wish you had.
Don’t let those if only moments stop you from moving forward and fulfilling the goals you set for yourself. Tomorrow isn’t even promised but that doesn’t stop us from living today. Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. - Hebrews 11:1 NIV
