This week, we are continuing to create blocks! Here's a look at where we've been and where we are headed. Note, if you missed any of the previous weeks, you can click on it below!

• April 5 - Week 1: Plan
• April 12 - Week 2: Cut & Organize
• April 19 - Week 3: Create 4/5 Blocks (HST & Flying Geese tips)
• April 26 - Week 4: Create 4/5 Blocks
• May 3 - Week 5: Create 4/5 Blocks
• May 10 - Week 6: Create 4/5 Blocks
• May 17 - Week 7: Sew Blocks Together

If you are creating the Square Throw, you'll be making 4 blocks each week. If you are making the Large Throw, create 5 blocks per week.

This is the last week of sewing blocks! Next week we will sew them all together to make our quilt top, I can't wait!

Yesterday, I came across a post by Sally in the Lo & Behold Patterns Facebook group that really warmed my heart! Here's what it said:

“Week 5 Progress Report. You might remember that I'm doing this QAL with three daughters; two of whom live across the wide USA. What a surprise when our supposed scheduled zoom meeting was changed to an IN PERSON QAL! Yeppers. They all converged in my quilt studio and we had a ‘Day to Nightingale Quilt Retreat’. Can you imagine this mamma's joy? We had a playlist, gift bags, grub-hub food for lunch (couldn't stop to cook!). What a fabulous day."

This makes my heart so full of joy. Sharing the fun and love of quilting with others, especially family is truly an awesome feeling. Thank you for sharing this with us, Sally! I hope that you had the best Mother's Day!
