Litany of Saints
On the Feast of all Saints, it is customary to pray the Litany of Saints, praising God for the faithful witness of a bare handful of godly men and women who have gone to glory ahead of us, leaving us track to tread after them.
While the Litany is long, it also humbling and inspiring, and historically speaking, a very short list of the faithful. What an honor to be numbered among them. Let us give glory to God for those he raises up in every generation to lead by example.
