Dear friend,
Our last but one newsletter for 2022 brings blessing and best wishes for the recent Winter Solstice on Wednesday 21 December. Having now passed the shortest day of the year, the beginning of Winter means the return of more sunlight each and every day - things only get brighter from here!
I have been thinking about my ‘theme’ word for the coming year, and having chosen ‘discernment’ for 2022, I decided on ‘transformation’ for 2023. We now have the opportunity to build on everything we have learned and achieved through this challenging year.
With this in mind, we are arranging monthly Zooms for facilitators and advisors following our first meetings earlier this month which was a great success. Meetings will be promoted on our Events page in due course.
CABI members, Richard Rowe and Nick Kitchen, are working together to help bring more people into the fold in the coming year. Other members are helping with this with some coming on board to assists with specific tasks and projects. More news on this next time but suffice to say, our heartfelt thanks to everyone who is supporting CABI and playing their part.
Richard suggested
‘The Lawful Observer’ as a focus for next year. This makes me think of shifting our thoughts towards the fundamental principles of
Natural Law and using this as a barometer to assess situations rationally, help each other conscientiously and make decisions for the highest good of all.
One of the most important aspects of our
Community Law is that ideally, issues are dealt with satisfactorily for all parties
before things exculate. Being familiar with our inalienable rights provided by the
Peace Keepers helps a great deal. It's the best way to get up to speed. The online course is free for everyone, doesn't take very long and is well worth the effort.
On to news from our members. We have received some profoundly wise, inspirational and transformational messages from members here and overseas which are featured below.
I am delighted to introduce a new
‘Community News’ section, starting with a beautifully organised mini-taster healing event in Salisbury on
Sunday 5 February. It's only £12 to spend the day exploring a wide range of natural healing approaches and discovering what might be most beneficial for you! You can find out more and book your tickets online via our
Events page.
We also have news about a new Community ‘Garden of Eden’ being created in the land of the Chalk Horses (see below). This is a fabulous example of how local people are making a difference and our thanks to Becky Smith, Founding Facilitator of the
Community Assembly of Salisbury who is also helping the
Community Assembly of Wiltshire as Special Advisor, for sharing these updates with us.
That's all from me and I hope you enjoy our featured content from members here and overseas. As always, if you have any questions or suggestions, please
get in touch.
I look forward to catching up again soon.
