Dear friend,
I hope this finds you well and that the slightly longer blue sky days are bringing some extra light and energy in the lead up to Spring.
We have wonderful news as we welcome
Community Assembly of West Sussex to the fold with appreciation to Founding Facilitators, Alison Standish, Jenni Bignel and Kirsty Newman - thank you for everything you do.
Another warm welcome to
Community Assembly of West Yorkshire with appreciation to Founding Facilitators, Louisa Gallagher, Anne Mutch and Stuart McGregor - thank you too for everything you do.
For the Community Health Initiative (CHI), we welcome
Angela Worsley as a new member practitioner. Angela has been studying and practising Reiki healing and crystal therapy for several years and is completing her three year Honours Degree in Acupuncture. Find out about Angela's therapies on her website
Indigo Light Therapies - it's a beautiful site with exceptional content.
As John says, we are making great progress and every time we enlist someone on our directories, the frequency of the website shoots up! It shows we are making a difference so keep up the good work and our thanks to everyone who is making a contribution.
I wrote about our wonderful
‘instigators’ and other contributors in a recent post -
The Problem with Leadership. This came into being when it was clear that none of our facilitators, advisors, practitioners or emissaries wanted to be considered as
‘leaders.’ It made me revisit previous research into
‘ethical leadership’ to see how things have changed.
I came to the conclusion (as many of us have) that in our communities at least, we don't need leaders. We just need to learn how to self-govern ourselves according to
Natural Law. I hope the attributes identified for successful (self and spiritual) leadership resonate with you too.
On the website, I have been updating wording on the Home page, creating downloads for our new
Resources section which has been redesigned. I am also adding new
‘Further Reading’ sections to all the blog posts with links to associated posts. We have published over 60 articles and I hope they are helpful. I have summarised the changes in ‘Website Updates' below.
I wanted to let you know that I love the work I do and in terms of cost, John kindly provides a basic income which has paid for the build and enables me to work on the website every day. My contribution is the blog, writing to share knowledge, creating resources and graphics, and fine tuning the site as we grow. I enjoy working on these things in my own time to continue the momentum, and to keep improving and building our shared knowledge base.
It's a pleasure to share contributions from our members and your ideas, knowledge and feedback are always welcome. If you have anything you would like to share, please
get in touch.
I look forward to catching up again soon.
