This Friday night the Archie Party returns for 2023. Experience the Art Gallery of New South Wales after dark with a one-night-only winter art party celebrating contemporary art, music and food, brought to you by local Sydney artists and producers.
Catch electric performances from dance-pop masters Haiku Hands, rising hip-hop star A.Girl with her full band, and rapper MRVZ, plus live visuals from Passive Kneeling and DJ sets from Diola and DJ D in a night of music presented with Vyva Entertainment. There’ll be interactive art experiences from local artists Laura Jones, Billy Bain and Jason Phu, and all-night access to the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes 2023 exhibition. The retreat is not only focusing on meditation and yoga, it also offers arts and craft classes such as pottery or weaving, to fully exercise the body and mind.
As part of Studio Equator’s office renovation there was a desire to incorporate custom design elements that showcased Studio Equator’s diverse talents, one of these elements included the design and making of a custom rug range. The idea was to create a showpiece for the studio that captured the essence of Studio Equator’s creative design process in an alternative medium.

Archie Party 2023 is a collaboration between the Art Gallery and Vyva Entertainment. Founded by producer and artist manager Vyvienne Abla, Vyva Entertainment is dedicated to empowering youth, artists and professionals by integrating industry, education and community through hip-hop and music culture with a particular focus on Western Sydney.
