It’s almost September, First name / friend, and if you’re anything like me, you’re sighing with relief.
You see, I’m an autumn girl through-and-through. Give me a cozy cinnamon-flavored beverage, a cute layered outfit, and beautiful 50-60 degree weather any day. (Also sorry to everyone who stans east coast beach & boating culture, but fall is the northeast’s best season.
Fight me on it, I dare you.)
And though I must admit that summer has grown on me over the years, I’ve never felt at home in the summer. In fact, summer usually leaves me feeling pretty existential and out of my element. There’s so. much. pressure. to have the ~best outdoor summer ever~, meanwhile, my idea of a good time is a cozy lil’ restaurant date and a heartwarming Broadway show.
Naturally, this feeling always creeps over into my business, too. I swear to god, every August I’m like, “what am I doing, I’m stressed for no reason, I want to burn it all down and completely start over”.
Aaaaand right on schedule, that’s how I’ve been feeling lately.
While I can’t guarantee they’ll rid the August blues completely, I know they’ll tide us over for 9 more days until we're in our slay era again.
If you’re an autumn person too, I hope they help.
xoxo
