First name / Hello, A big thank you for the continued support and interest in the beneficial relationship between conventional treatment and Naturopathic medicine for Cancer Care. This week, I want to take a deep dive into the benefits of intravenous therapies for the Cancer Program. |
|
Before we dive into this weeks topic, I wanted to share some snaps of daily life behind the scenes over the last few months while undergoing treatment. - my haircut following my first round of chemotherapy
- a summer dinner with my wife Suelina
- an afternoon café stop with my favourite furry buddy Kenji

Deep Dive - Intravenous Therapies for Cancer: |
|
In our last newsletter, I discussed some of the main reasons why IV therapies are an excellent addition to a cancer treatment plan. This week, my daughter Dr. Alex Chan, is sharing her insights to the uses of intravenous therapies in the Cancer Program.Dr. Alex Chan leads our Cancer Care Program at Integrative and is working alongside my medical team at the BC Cancer agency to enhance the natural healing response, while reducing the side effects of conventional treatments. Thus far, these symptoms have mainly been nausea and fatigue following chemotherapy. |

The Integrative Approach to Cancer Care: |
|
Our in-house program often includes specific hormone, toxin, cancer marker, or metabolic testing, in addition to a review of all previous diagnostic imaging and testing you have completed. Treatments will vary, but may include intravenous therapy, nutritional recommendations, supplementation, injection therapies, acupuncture, spinal manipulations, and stress relief techniques. Each patient is treated on an individualized basis and recommendations are implemented to work cohesively with conventional treatment protocols. Have a specific question about our program? Hit reply to this email and a member of our team will get back to you. |
