The mornings have been deliciously cooler in Indiana this week and my friend Angie dropped off 10 huge mums to my house. Just like that, my front porch feels like the setting of a fall Hallmark Movie. 🍁 I've been playing this song on repeat and I've just started this book. It's light and gossipy and perfect to read while you're sitting under a blanket on the porch swing. Jennifer Magley interviewed me live on LinkedIn on Tuesday. At one point in the convo, I thought she was gonna fall off her chair when she heard the way we teach our clients to look at their clothing in a different way, by using a 90-day calendar. Her quote? “Mindblown”. 🤯 I’ve been going through photos of Cooper pulling out some gems for the school yearbook senior photo submission. I'm supposed to send in 5, but every time I start to look through the photo album I get overwhelmed with nostalgia and have to stop. Lawd help this momma get through the year. |

(Fancy, right?) Let’s face it, clothing, beauty, and accessory brands have changed dramatically since March 2020, and unless this is your full-time business, (Well, hello Stephanie Grabow!) you probably don’t have the free time or the brain space to keep up with those changes. Will it become an occasional thing? Do you want to see more? Let me know what you think by replying to this email or commenting on the blog post. Read about 5 things from EVERLANE that might help you transition your wardrobe into fall. |

Reminder: Your clothing dollars are personal development and investment dollars. Spend them wisely and with intention. |

My friend Melinda dropped off 2 dozen ears of Indiana sweet corn last week, so I turned them into the best corn chowder ever. I start with a recipe from Mark Bittman's original How to Cook Everything Vegetarian cookbook and then I put my own spin on it. BTW - I think this is the best cookbook ever written. Hands down. I have the updated version too, and it has pretty pictures, but I still like the doorstop version better. |

🥸 PPS - Our lawyer, Karen, (yes, that's really her name!) wants us to let you know that some of the links in our emails and blogs are affiliate links and if you shop through them we might make a few pennies. Or we might not. This stuff is totally unpredictable. 🤷🏽♀️ But mostly, we want you to know that we only recommend stuff that we love and use ourselves. We're shoppers, too. Pinky-swear promise. |
