New year, new you?

I avoid setting New Year's resolutions and loathe the phrase “new year, new you!” How about instead: new year, more of who you already are? We put a lot of pressure on ourselves this time of year.

Everywhere you turn, there's an invitation to set goals and start anew. Makes sense. I just know that most of those intentions will quickly fall by the wayside.

That's not to say we shouldn't consider what we would like to invite more of into our lives. And what we would like to leave behind. It's sometimes hard to know if we're not self-aware.

I might be partial since I'm a mindfulness teacher, but mindfulness is one aspect to consider inviting more of. Becoming mindful has many positive ripple effects.
  • Learn how to direct your attention
  • Hone your awareness
  • Get to know yourself better
  • Be more intentional
  • Make mindful choices
A daily mindfulness practice is a great vehicle for self-exploration. It's an exercise that will strengthen your mind and ability to be more authentically YOU.

I invite you to give it a try!

Learning how to meditate is a foundational practice that will lead to positive growth in many areas of your life. If you'd like to learn more, join me on Wednesday (tomorrow), January 3 @ 3 PM EST for a workshop called One Simple Habit.

Grab the ZOOM LINK here. ✨

I'll teach you one simple habit to help you become more mindful. It's one habit that can change your life.
