Bingo, brews, and (disco) balls, it's our 2nd Annual Not Your Average Valentine's Day party hosted with our friends, TALEA Beer Co. Last year was a blast as we maxed out the Williamsburg Taproom with round after round of Bingo, hosted by the glitzy + gorgeous Cherry Poppins. 
Bingo cards are a $1 a pop suggested donation with a portion of the proceeds benefiting One Love, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the youth on healthy relationships.     Wow, Rebels. What a year. 2023 was a wild ride on the entrepreneurial roller coaster, a good mix of "I'm gonna puke!" and "Again! Again!" So, entrepreneurship 101 really.
    Though I’ve been so grateful for a metaphorical seat belt as the roller coaster of life whips me around another curve, you know me — I’ve got one hand up in the air feeling the wind rush by. It’s invigorating, even if a little bit scary. 
    This ride is far from over, but as I look ahead to a new year full of big dreams manifesting into reality, I want to take one final look back on 2023. (read more)

Steal This Itinerary: Riga, Latvia

Quick, easy, and budget-friendly travel ideas including unexpected locales and original takes on classic destinations—perfect for adventurous couples or families looking to get off the beaten path. This month, we're off to an underrated gem in Europe – Latvia's capital city of Riga, which Vogue hailed as the new arts hub of the Baltic.

When to go: If you can tolerate temps in the teens, Riga will reward you with stunning 19th century architecture, cold-plunges and thermal spas, friendly locals, and husky dog sledding through snow-covered pine forests. 
Where to stay: Treat yourself to 5-star accommodations in Old Town at the luxurious Grand Palace Hotel, set in a historic 18th century building overlooking the city's Freedom Monument.
What to eat: To get a taste of authentic Latvian cuisine, head to folk restaurant Forest for dishes like smoked fish, dark rye bread, and meat dumplings in a cozy tavern setting. For one of Riga's best fine dining experiences, book a table at Max Cekot Kitchen, a Michelin-starred restaurant serving a decadent 10-course tasting menu.
What to do/see: Riga's UNESCO Heritage Site Old Town, which has been called "a living illustration of European history," features architectural gems like the House of the Blackheads, the 13th century Gothic cathedral, and art nouveau buildings along Alberta Street. Riga Central Market is one of Europe's largest markets with rows of food, flower, and handicraft vendors housed in old Zeppelin hangars.
