FlexJobs - (Resource) - This is one of my favorite sites to use for finding remote jobs and learning about new companies that hire remotely. Most of what I see there when I check the listings pays well above minimum wage and are known companies.
The great thing about FlexJobs is that they guarantee ALL listings are scam-free. They list hundreds of jobs -- all of which are either remote or flexible in nature -- five days per week.
There are also no ads on the site!
Because there are no ads, they do charge a membership fee since that is the only way they can see a return on their job-searching efforts. But it's cheap -- you can get access for a few weeks for just $2.95 for 14 full days!
If you sign up and don't like it, it's very easy to cancel right away so you are not billed again. You can do it any point during your 14 days of checking things out.

Belay - Virtual Executive Assistant. All states
EXCEPT California, Montana, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. This is a 1099 contractor role. You will work at home performing admin tasks for BELAY'S clients. Past admin experience required. Pay is $18 to $21 hourly. Also looking for remote social media managers, accounting clerks, and bookkeepers.
Bullhorn - Bullhorn is a reputable company with many different remote jobs across different industries. They also offer positions in countries outside the US. If you are hired to work for them, they provide the equipment you need to do the work. And they also provide benefits which includes paid time off, health benefits, and more.
GameRant - List Article Writer. GameRant is hiring list article writers. Anywhere in the US. Broad knowledge of gaming and gaming history required, as well as some SEO experience. Pay for this position is unknown.
eNotes - Content Writers. eNotes seeks skilled writers passionate about literature to join the study guide content team. Whether you're a teacher, post-grad, or seasoned freelancer, this could be your ideal role. Must have strong command of the English grammatical conventions, degree in humanities, and experience as a freelance writer, tutor, or teacher. Pay rate not listed but they say it's competitive.
Windstar Cruises - Windstar Cruises is currently hiring work at home customer service representatives to service Travel Advisors and Guests via inbound and outbound Calls, email, chat and other sources as assigned. This work involves assisting in reservations as well. Currently, this position is only open to people living in the following US states: AR, AZ, CO, FL, LA, TX and WA. This is a full-time role. Cruise or tour operations / reservations experience preferred but not required. Rate of pay is not listed, but the job listings says it's an hourly rate plus incentives.
Speakeasy Marketing - Customer Service Reps. Anywhere in the US. MS Word proficiency, excellent communication skills and a quiet workspace with speedy, reliable internet are all required. Pay is $18 / hour.
Aira - Visual Interpreters. US only. This is a company that hires people to do voice chats with the blind and visually impaired. The purpose of this is to help them with everyday tasks. Pay is $15 hourly.
A&P Transcription -Transcribers. Anywhere in the US. Must have at least one year of prior transcription experience. You'll also need 65+ WPM typing ability and typical transcription tools such as a foot pedal and headphones.
User Interviews - (Extra Cash) - Paid Research. This reputable company conducts research studies paying $50 or more for your time. They are always looking for new respondents.
