April is the perfect month to focus on our baseline self-care, or what I like to call THE BASICS. What's your baseline self-care that keeps you going? Have you been sticking to those habits that help you feel your best? If not, here's a little jolt to get you back on track.
 
Taking care of ourselves looks different for each person. The first step is to understand what you need to feel your best. Then you build KEY HABITS to get you there. Once you figure out what works for you, making those key habits non-negotiable will keep you smooth sailing.
 
Here are some questions to ask yourself:
  • Am I eating a healthy breakfast?
  • Am I prioritizing my sleep?
  • Am I moving my body to help release stress?
  • Am I taking time to breathe?
  • Am I drinking enough water?
These are my go-to questions when feeling sluggish, disconnected, or overwhelmed. I'm probably slacking in at least one of these areas. It's not about being perfect all the time, but it is about maintaining your foundation of well-being.
 
Tending to your baseline self-care is necessary!
 
This month, let's focus on our baseline self-care needs. I love the idea of building our FOUNDATION brick by brick. Small habit by small habit. One daily choice at a time. Focusing on too many things at once makes it easy to get overwhelmed. Decide what area might need attention and choose ONE HABIT to focus on this month. ✨
