FlexJobs - (Resource) - This is one of my favorite sites to use for finding remote jobs and learning about new companies that hire remotely. Most of what I see there when I check the listings pays well above minimum wage and are known companies.
The great thing about FlexJobs is that they guarantee ALL listings are scam-free. They list hundreds of jobs -- all of which are either remote or flexible in nature -- five days per week. There are also no ads on the site!
Because there are no ads, they do charge a membership fee since that is the only way they can see a return on their job-searching efforts.
But it's cheap -- you can get access for a few weeks for just $2.95 for 14 full days!
If you sign up and don't like it, it's very easy to cancel right away so you are not billed again. You can do it any point during your 14 days of checking things out.
User Interviews - Get paid to participate in focus groups! This reputable company conducts research studies paying $50-$75 or more for your time.
They are always looking for new respondents, and have lots of studies going on at any given time.
I am always getting invitations in my email to participate, so they don't run out of studies very often.

Harper Collins Publishers - Customer Service Rep. US. You will provide Omnichannel support, including customer chat support, answering email inquiries and phone calls, and responding to Social Media messages. Requires 1-3 years of past customer service experience. Pay starts at $40,000 yearly.
Rag & Bone - Customer Service Agent. Remote, but must be based in the NY metropolitan area. You will support a best-in-class level of customer service through extensive product knowledge. Requires 1-2 years of multi-channel customer service experience, preferably in a DTC model. Pay starts at $21.50 hourly, but will depend on your skills and experience.
TaskRabbit - Customer Support Rep. US. Part-time. You will prioritize and champion customer satisfaction, ensuring a personalized and caring approach in every interaction. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role. Shifts offered for this position are Central Time (CT). Preference will be asked at time of interview, but cannot be guaranteed. Depending on business requirements your shift time or day off may change. Pay is $17.50 hourly with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Bitly - Customer Support Specialist. US (specific states which includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington). Full-time. This position will primarily involve handling inbound customer inquiries via Zendesk. Salaried position with a pay range listed at $48,000—$72,000 USD yearly.
Rover - Are you a pet lover? If so, and you're OK with a way to earn money that's outside your home as long as it's also flexible, you may want to sign up as a pet sitter for Rover. You could make up to $100 (or more!) a week playing with dogs and cats.
