FlexJobs - (Resource) - This is one of my favorite sites to use for finding remote jobs and learning about new companies that hire remotely. Most of what I see there when I check the listings pays well above minimum wage and are known companies.
The great thing about FlexJobs is that they guarantee ALL listings are scam-free. They list hundreds of jobs -- all of which are either remote or flexible in nature -- five days per week. There are also no ads on the site!
Because there are no ads, they do charge a membership fee since that is the only way they can see a return on their job-searching efforts.
But it's cheap -- you can get access for a few weeks for just $2.95 for 14 full days!
If you sign up and don't like it, it's very easy to cancel right away so you are not billed again. You can do it any point during your 14 days of checking things out.
Tellwut - (Extra Cash) - Survey Respondents. US and Canada. This is a fun survey panel with short polls and surveys you can take to earn cash and gift cards. Highly rated by Survey Police. Currently they are needing people in the US and also Canada to sign up.

The Princeton Review - Test Prep Enrollment Advisor. US. Full-time. You will earn the business of students and families via sales consultations about standardized test preparation, admissions counseling, and academic support offered by The Princeton Review. Requires bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Pay is $15 to $19 hourly plus uncapped commission.
WRISTCHECK - Customer Care Specialist. US. Part-time. You will provide first-class support to Wristcheck customers and sellers, handling requests and inquiries with compassion, professionalism, and promptness to foster long-term relations.Requires 3-5 years of professional experience in customer service, customer support, or in a call center in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in the luxury goods and services industry.

Yahoo - How-To Commerce Writer. US. Full-time. You will write how-to articles for Yahoo's buying guides. They are looking for people with 3-5 years of experience writing "how-to" content: Preferably in the lifestyle, health, home and/or tech space. Commerce content experience is a plus. Per the job description, the pay will be $72K yearly or more.
Belay - Virtual Executive Assistant. All states EXCEPT California, Montana, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. This is a 1099 contractor role. You will work at home performing admin tasks for BELAY'S clients. Past admin experience required. Pay is $18 or MORE hourly. Also looking for remote social media managers, accounting clerks, and bookkeepers.
Fetch - Call Center Retention Agents for Pet Insurance - US and Canada. Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing customer communications (calls and emails) to full completion. Must have had at least 2 yrs past call center experience. Must be certified with a Property & Casualty (P&C) license across multiple states. The company will pay for licenses, where applicable. Pay rate not listed.
Centific - Internet Judges. Open to many countries. During this Search Engine Evaluation project, participants will evaluate unique tasks, made by other users. Must be available for 20 hours of work a week at minimum. May pay around $12 hourly.
Wing - Virtual Assistants. Several countries. Full-time. Mostly entry-level, but you'll need to be comfortable/familiar using online software like spreadsheets, calendars, scheduling tools, etc. Rate of pay not listed.
