FlexJobs - (Resource) - This is one of my favorite sites to use for finding remote jobs and learning about new companies that hire remotely. Most of what I see there when I check the listings pays well above minimum wage and are known companies.
The great thing about FlexJobs is that they guarantee ALL listings are scam-free. They list hundreds of jobs -- all of which are either remote or flexible in nature -- five days per week. There are also no ads on the site!
Because there are no ads, they do charge a membership fee since that is the only way they can see a return on their job-searching efforts.
But it's cheap -- you can get access for a few weeks for just $2.95 for 14 full days!
If you sign up and don't like it, it's very easy to cancel right away so you are not billed again. You can do it any point during your 14 days of checking things out.
Tellwut - (Extra Cash) - Survey Respondents. US and Canada. This is a fun survey panel with short polls and surveys you can take to earn cash and gift cards. Highly rated by Survey Police. Currently they are needing people in the US and also Canada to sign up.

Advance Auto Parts - Store Support Specialist. Only Candidates in the following states will be considered: NC, VA, GA, SC, WV, MD, PA and FL. Full-time. You will take calls, e-mails and voice mails log the customer information into Remedy database.
Landmark Associates - Transcribers, Proofers, and Translators. Freelance, contract roles. You'll have to complete their test transcript and attach it with your application. Prior experience with general transcription projects and extensive knowledge of English grammatical rules is beneficial. Salary is unknown, but most of what I see online says it is fair, particularly for those new to transcription.
WebFX - HVAC Plumbing Expert Advisor. US. Flexible schedule. As an experienced professional in your field, you'll get to review a variety of interesting content projects to verify industry accuracy. Must have HVAC/plumbing licenses, skills, or certifications. Compensation: Hourly rates from $50 to $90 per hour. Compensation depends on certifications, education and work experience.
GoStudent - Freelance Online Academic Tutors. Must be a good communicator, organized, and have experience working with Zoom and Google Drive.
TELUS - Rater. US. Freelance. Looking for dynamic and creative people who have strong communication skills and use the Internet daily. The job involves analyzing and providing feedback on text, web pages, images and other types of information for leading search engines, using an online tool. Pay: $12 - $13 USD per hour.
