We all have things in our business that we have trouble "seeing".
Things that people outside of us can readily point to and say, “Hey! Have you considered this?! Have you tried doing it this way?”
For me, one of those things is offer design.
I know how to create a custom service after meeting with someone (this is how I built up my freelance writing/marketing business).
What I struggle with is designing a “standardized” service that would work for many different kinds of people.
This is a larger conversation… but I can no longer create a totally custom offer for every single client (even with services on my website the last two years, I've still found myself doing that 🫠).
I need to balance repeatable rhythms with just enough flexibility.
Which is why, dear reader, I'm thrilled to have landed on a service that IS striking that balance.
As usual, it took someone else pointing it out to be able to see it.
A client I've worked with in the past said, “Hey, could we do one call a month? I like having regular check-ins, I like slightly longer calls (75 minutes vs an hour), I like having your notes from our calls… but I don't need to see you every other week and it just doesn't make sense for me to spend upwards of $400 a month.”
(I'm paraphrasing, of course, but you get the idea.)
Getting this suggestion from a client I love working with was welcome, helpful, and an immediate yes. For all the ways I'm able to think creatively… I GENUINELY didn't see this as an option.
All my brain saw was, “How can I make two calls a month—or a call every other week—work.”.
(!?)
I can be embarrassed by this (I am sometimes!). I can be hard on myself for this. Or I can recognize what works for me and my business, and actively seek it out.
My business continues to grow because people I have mutual trust, respect, and admiration for continue to invite me into new possibilities.

I share this ONE, to validate that we all have our limits.
Doesn't matter how smart, thoughtful, creative, or experienced you are… we all have stuff we can't see from where we are, or figure out on our own. We are humans that need other humans! Imagine that!
Note: Any expectation that you have to go it alone likely comes from a system/culture that * benefits * from you being separate (from others, from yourself, from nature, etc…). 👀
And TWO, I share this because this offer is available to all of you!
I've had a great response from the handful of past clients I've shared it with. I'm excited to see who else it resonates with.

Month-to-Month Advising
How it works:
- One, 75-minute call per month
- Held over Zoom
- Thoughtful follow-up notes shared 2 business days later (includes additional reflections/insights from me, and any actionable next steps or resources)
- Email access between calls for feedback, quick questions, etc. I am your collaborator! Show me what you're working on! Ask for feedback! Again, we're not meant to do it alone :)
- We choose a recurring session time i.e. 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10am ET
- We start with a four-month initial commitment and it's month-to-month from there
Who it's good for:
- You're a thoughtful business owner pursuing a countercultural definition of success. Most business advice feels too flat, too narrow, or too prescriptive for the reality of your life and business (not to mention your values)
- You’re balancing a lot professionally and personally, and learning so much at once. You want someone you can check-in with regularly to debrief what's going on so that you a) have protected space to process/soundboard/strategize and b) can get well-rounded advice from a someone with a business/marketing/finance background (talking it out with your partner or therapist isn't cutting it)
- You want to be able to chat out all those big & small ongoing growth decisions in your business. “How should I handle this? What should I do next?” You want thought-partnership from someone who gets it, who cares, and who works to understand you and your business rather than lead with assumptions
- You've got plans that are important to make progress on, and you know regular calls will help you do that
I want you to recognize yourself in your business.
I want you to feel strengthened by how you're choosing to spend your time, energy, and money.
I want you to grow toward what matters to you.

Next steps:
We'll spend a half an hour or so together getting to know each other and seeing if this type of support is a fit.
I've got two spaces to start in November and two in December.
It's an honour to learn and grow with you,
