Friday Faves - February 14, 2025

This ‘Hallmark holiday’ can be a tricky and unsettling one.
It can remind us of losses, of unmet expectations,
of relationships in disrepair, and then some.

For today's Valentine's Day edition of Friday Faves, I want to
share with you some friends of mine who are committed to
helping us navigate all that comes with love and relationships.

Jill talked openly with me about how her marriage survived the worst and is now thriving -
She introduced me to this book and its concepts - it's been very helpful!

I was truly disappointed that the show didn't continue beyond two seasons!!
It tempted me to try to make her chocolate soufflé and a few other of her famous recipes.
PS: The show has quite a few innuendos, which is true to their humor and who they were, but
makes the show not totally family friendly.

I'd love to know if there is a non-profit focused on marriage enrichment that you're supporting.

Some of my, more recent, favorite episodes are 52, 60, and 75.

This book was written after an overwhelmingly positive response to this sermon series.
BTW, this book is an excellent read for singles, not just married folks.

If you're still trying to figure out a nice little gift to give your Valentine,
the shower steamers that I shared in last week's faves are perfect.

One thing I learned relatively recently about Corey is that he loves lemon hard candies.
These are his favorites.

Happy Valentine's Day.
Be well,
