| | | PROJECTS & INSPIRATION FROM OUR COMMUNITY |
| | For the last email, I wanted to share some of your projects and experiences! I hope it can provide some inspiration as we complete this project and begin new ones. There were so many unique interpretations and I tried to share the different processes / methods people have used. Your projects were created all across the globe and by people of all ages--I think the youngest was 3! It has been amazing seeing what you all created--enjoy!Due to the images, this email is longer than usual. Click this link to open the entire email in your browser or click “view entire/message email” at the bottom of your email to make sure nothing gets cut off and you see everything! |

| | LUCY C shared that she didn't always stick to the prompts which I completely support--follow what you feel called to create! I love the collage elements and my favorite might be the cute matcha :) |
| | KP followed the guidelines very loosely and used a big piece of cardboard with painters tape to use what they already had. They made more than 21 spaces and knew they wanted black lines in between. I love the look of the black and using what was readily available! |

| | WILLOW, 8, San Diego “She used a strawberry on paper towel for the top left section and Cobble Street Cousins is one of many favorite series of books she enjoys reading. ‘Bat’ is learning to bat a ball this summer. She also did salt art (right lower side).” |
| | CHLOE, 3, San Diego “She ended up using watercolors or colored pencils for most sections. ‘Game’ is for her enjoyment of a new ice cream themed matching game." |
| |  JORDIN, almost 6, San Diego. She will be turning 6 at the end of the month--Happy Early Birthday, Jordin! Here's a before and after the tape peel! |
| | KATE MCDANIEL, Pasadena, CA, @katemcdaniel For the first week of prompts Kate was at the beach on vacation, so had fun capturing one thing from the day that was a highlight! Each section turned out beautifully! |
| | AMELIA B joined later and made it a weekend project to find visuals for the words. She covered the washi tape with watercolor strips just to make it more fun. Amelia also write little snippets on why she chose the visual or what the prompt made her think about. I love how Amelia interpreted this project and the watercolor strips are so lovely!  |
| | CASSANDRA E, Califon, NJ Here's a before and after tape peel photo! I really love the lines in the bread tag section! |
| | CARLA M, Ontario, Canada After finishing dividing up the page, Carla had 24 sections and liked how it turned out so kept it that way. She tried to use more than one medium when she could and to balance out the colours, solids, patterns, and textures. It turned out beautifully! She sent some detailed shots and the firefly is one of my favorites, as well as the quote! |
| | VALERIE JACKSON, France, @ateliervalcreations Valerie peeled the tape along the way to write in the blank areas in both French and English. I love that her project reflects who Valerie is in both the art and text and the way she used the margins! |

| | AUBREY, MI Here's a before / after of Audrey's project as well as one of her favorite sections which I loved as well.    “Day 17: I made my own prompt about my dog Morena’s birthday which of course is the very most sentimental section. We just said goodbye to her in April, and on this day she would have turned 15 years old. It was a very bittersweet thing, to draw out this celebration for her, but I really enjoyed having this as something to do to celebrate her since we didn’t get to give her the usual party we would. I included special treats, toys, and decorations from over the years that were part of her parties. Things like the Party Animal banner and Birthday Pup bandana were things we brought out year after year once we had them! And I added some blueberries in to commemorate the most special birthday we gave her, when she turned 13, and we took her on a mini vacation to west Michigan which involved visiting a pick-your-own blueberry farm. We all miss her so very much, she was the whole family’s baby, and she was here for just over half my life.” What a sweet and beautiful tribute to Morena!   The knit section (upper right edge) was another favorite inspired by a blanket her great grandma had made for the family when she was born and now her nephew was using as he learns how to crawl.    Aubrey also mentioned possibly getting a blue frame as a nod to the tape and I might have to follow in her footsteps--what a great idea!  |
| | And here's a look at my project :) (If you're on TikTok or Instagram , I started posting process videos of each section if you'd like to join me over there!) My favorite section might be the first one, as it was inspired by a book I was reading and I felt like I was able to really capture it in the different elements I used (I also like that it opens up)! Another favorite is the dried flower section (middle right edge)--I turned them into stickers using packing tape and I like how it protects the surface of the flowers.  |

| | THANK YOU so much for joining me for 21 Every Days! This project started as a personal way to visually document my days. It is so special to me that the idea resonated with you and it has been inspiring and heartwarming to see this project through your eyes and experiences! I love the different interpretations and ways you approached the project and how each person made it their own.    I hope you enjoyed it as much as I loved hosting it! I am hoping to do this again (maybe for each season?) and hope you'll join me for another round(s). Until then, please stay in touch so we can connect and create in other ways! Have a wonderful rest of your summer, I hope it's filled with art and inspiration! :)   With gratitude, |
