It’s Victoria here from Little Black Duck with week 4 of the Make Time sew-along.

This week we are going to focus on the Sunrise block, and have a look at the skills needed to make this beautiful and bold Dresden Fan design.

There are lots of great tips and illustrations with your Make Time pdf pattern, but I have also filmed a YouTube demo video. In this deep-dive video you’ll be able to see exactly how the design comes together. 

If you are bitten by the bug and would like to try a Dresden Plate or Fan in other sizes I have also made a set of templates with smaller blades.
