But y’all, the evening was extra special because we got to share dinner with clients who bought a home through me and who’ve gone on fishing charters with Aaron. It was one of those full-circle moments where clients truly become family, and I’m reminded how lucky I am to do what I do. Real estate isn’t just about houses. It’s about building relationships, creating connections, and watching those bonds grow long after the closing papers are signed. What made you decide to move to the Keys? We have always loved being on the water. Every time we visited the Keys, we never wanted to leave. The beauty, slower pace, and simple lifestyle felt like more than just a vacation; it was a dream. We wanted to make the move while we are young so we could fully embrace it!

What was most exciting (or maybe scary) about such a big change? Austin left his job of nearly 10 years to pursue a new career he had always dreamed about. That was a huge leap. We were nervous, but also excited to push ourselves out of our comfort zones. What made it easier is how welcoming everyone has been. The community here is something we did not even know we were missing. A big life lesson for us is that life is short. If it is feasible, go for your dreams. Even if it does not work out, you will not regret trying, but you will regret the what-ifs. A few years ago, this felt impossible, but with research, planning, and the right realtor guiding us, we turned a far-fetched dream into our daily life.

What do you love most about living here now? It already feels like home. From the friendly community to the natural beauty, and even the key deer strolling by, we are grateful every day. But most of all, nothing beats the feeling of knowing this wild dream became our reality.
