Hi,
I’m M, chief feel-good officer at Mental Health Activity. Because you’re in the Feel-Good Club, you’re getting this little Friday bundle of joy.
Every week, I prep the week ahead with one free tool, two fun activities, and three fuel-up finds. Hope you enjoy them!
1 FREE TOOL

I have something very positive for you! A positive-talk journal page! It’s fun to fill, and at the end it makes you feel really good. It’s free until Friday, Oct 24th, so download it now!

2 FUN ACTIVITIES

I took this photo three days ago at a flower shop in Brooklyn.

1- Monday is Diwali, a Hindu celebration with lights and colors. I’m thinking of celebrating it this year by listening to Indian jazz music, something I’ve never done. I found a cool playlist. Wanna celebrate Diwali a bit jazzy?

2- This week, I plan to buy fresh flowers for home. I always wanted to be that kind of person who starts the week with a fresh bouquet in the living room and enjoys its beauty every time I look at it. So I’m doing it this Sunday!

Oh, by the way, remember I said I want to challenge myself to walk 200,000 steps in October? Now it’s Oct 17th and I’m at 116,000. I’m keeping at it, but it’s a tough challenge more than I expected!
3 FUEL-UP FINDS

1- This animation is for people who have at least one hand. And yes, it feels good.

2- Working on Belonging Games makes me more curious about lives in different cultures, so I made a list of 10 movies to watch until New Year that help me see life beyond my own culture. Sharing my list with you:
  1. “Lionheart” (2018, Nigeria)
  2. “A Separation” (2011, Iran)
  3. “Lunchbox” (2013, India)
  4. “Rams” (2015, Iceland)
  5. “Roma” (2018, Mexico)
  6. “Shoplifters” (2018, Japan)
  7. “City of God” (2002, Brazil)
  8. “Sami Blood” (2016, Sweden)
  9. “Rafiki” (2018, Kenya)
  10. “Moonlight” (2016, USA)

3- Do you have a life coach? Someone who helps you reflect on your life? Well, you have it now.
Open ChatGPT or Gemini and type this:
Be my reflection coach. Guide me through a short end-of-week reflection: what went well, what drained me, what I learned, and what I want to change next week. Then summarize it into 3 insights and 1 improvement goal for next week.
Then tell it to answer in your preferred language, and have a 30-minute conversation with your coach.

That’s all for this week. I’ll bring more good stuff next Friday. If you find cool things, reply to this email and share. I love getting messages from you!

Big hug,
M
