Like all that comprises LEONA, THIS glamorous GLASS STRAW began AS A GLIMMER IN MY IMAGINATION; A PIPE(ETTE) DREAM KINDLED BY TWO OF MY forever-FAVORITE WORDS:

 

 

WHAT IF I COULD bring the delicately dangerous vampiric straw from one of my favorite paintings to life?

After a series of fruitless searches for a precise concoction of skillset, imagination + patience, I WAS DELIGHTED WHEN JON SHAFT OF HP WOODCRAFT AGREED NOT ONLY TO LOOK AT MY SKETCHES OF THIS strange + sexy surrealist object, BUT to translate them into tangible reality.
