Here’s What You Need to Know to Safely Begin or Return to Group Class 🤍
Reformer Pilates is renowned for its ability to be thoughtfully tailored to individual needs and can be a wonderful movement practice both during pregnancy and when returning to movement after giving birth. That said, every body and every recovery is unique, and your safety is always our top priority.
If you are currently pregnant, we require written clearance from your healthcare provider before you begin. This allows us to support you safely and appropriately as your body changes throughout pregnancy.
Whether you are pregnant or recently postpartum, it’s important to understand your limits and how your body is evolving. After birth, we recommend returning to Reformer Pilates only after clearance from your healthcare provider (typically around 6–8 weeks postpartum, or as advised by your provider).
We strongly recommend a one-on-one private session for all pre- and postnatal clients to learn the specific modifications needed to safely participate in group classes during pregnancy and to confidently transition back into Reformer Pilates following birth.
Our instructors are here to support you every step of the way and are committed to helping you move safely, confidently, and with care.
