Christmas Eve, and I'm thinking about how art weaves through holiday moments - not as another task, but as a tiny pocket of calm.
That's a lie. It's Christmas Eve. I've just got back from the supermarket because despite having enough food in to last the first few weeks of an apocalypse we ran out of tea bags. I haven't finished wrapping presents. The cat keeps trying to eat the Christmas tree and the studio (kitchen table) has well and truly been commandeered by glittery chaos (also great for my anxiety with a cat with pica tendencies).
I did, however, find some time to do some sketching this week and I have a fool-proof method for drawing snowy trees.
