I struggled with chronic acne from age 11 till my late 20's. Throughout middle and high school, my mom took me to the dermatologist and nothing was working; in fact, it seemed like my skin was actually getting worse. Then as a college dancer athlete with a physically demanding schedule and a poor diet, my skin was at its absolute worst.
I dealt with embarrassment, shame, and low self-esteem for years and finally was determined to make a change towards the end of my college career. I thought, “if other people have beautiful skin, why can't I?” I knew there must be some reason why my skin broke out so much beyond just genetics.
I was introduced to Arbonne by a good friend and immediately fell in love with their skincare, which helped heal my skin on the outside (and I still use it to this day), but I later discovered the 30 Days to Healthy Living & Beyond program, which absolutely changed my life.
By improving my diet, focused heavily on addressing my gut, my skin slowly, but surely, started to clear up. One major trigger that I've identified as problematic for me is dairy, which I've kept out of my diet ever since (about 2016).
Even though it wasn't this program alone that completely cleared my skin, it made, by far, the biggest impact for me, and if I could gift someone else dealing with their skin, their weight, or another aspect of their health, I would 1,000% gift this program to them; hence, why I do what I do.
