“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts." -Aristotle

Aristotle was wrong about lots of things, this idea still stands up.

And it's what I wanna talk about this week: Integration.

No shade, bro.
You were limited by the times.

TLDR: Integration
  • ADHD makes content integration hard.

  • Disintegrated content makes things harder.

  • AI makes integration more necessary than ever

  • Start with your overarching core message

Integration

Integration is kind of a buzz word, I'll give you that…but it's stupidly important to your marketing.

(If I ever write a newletter on synergy though, call the police.)

When I started working with ADHD clients, I noticed lots of marketing spaghetti, i.e. disintegrated content.
  • A random campaign here
  • A social media post there
  • Some content said this
  • Other content said that

No messaging worked together, and it was a mess.
  • No clear goals / CTAs
  • A wibbly core message
  • Creating from zero every time.

That missing piece makes a lot more work.

And worse.

In the past, keywords and SEO best practices were enough for folks to find you. But that shit is changing.

AI is becoming the new search engine and it's looking for coherence. You need one core message that all your offers and content support.

It's a little ironic, but the robots are scanning for trustworthiness—matching words and actions.

And it's up to you to connect the dots.

Because with AI, if your shit seems scattered, you're not showing up on page 2. You're not showing up at all.

Making It Make Sense

Of course, you don't wanna be invisible.

So…how do you
"make it make sense?"

Let's talk about it.

Pick One Thing

Whadd'ya want to be known for?

This is your over-arching core message that all your content supports.

Mine:
You can market effectively/sustainably with ADHD when you have the proper support and know the what, why, and how.

All other content should support this idea.

 Pick 3-5 Buckets

You may have heard them called pillars—the cornerstone topics that support your core message.

Mine:
  • Executive function support
  • content, copy, and messaging
  • ADHD processes / structure
  • Safety, mindset, permission
Once you have your core message and supporting buckets, you can take different angles and try different formats.

Now the content question isn't what should you post, it's what bucket are you pulling from?

Pick the Anchor

An anchor is the warm little center that brings it all together. Generally it's long form content like a blog or newsletter that you can riff on.

Especially if you do theme weeks where all your content comes outta one bucket.

You just pull out the big idea and iterate.

the big idea ⬇️⬇️⬇️

It's Good Stuff

Integrated marketing is what lets your past work stack and support your current and future work.

In other words:
  • Less decision making
  • Less content creation
  • Repurposing is easier
  • Shit makes more sense

Because you don't need brand new shit. You need brand new angles on old shit.

I feel like there's a Big Lebowsky quote in there somewhere…but moving on.

  • Integration creates a bridge between what you're saying and what you're selling. It feels like a logical step, not an ice-cold ask.

  • Your ideas compound and supports your audience instead of resetting at zero. And it's easier to keep track of and repurpose what you're creating.

  • As you say the same things over and over in slightly different ways, you become recognizable as an expert and start building trust.

You're creating a throughline that ties everything together.

Oh…there it is...

Is your marketing integrated?

If you're wracking your brain for content ideas or constantly creating from scratch, the answer is no.

And that's okay.
