There is something utterly magical about June. It’s the time of the year where the days stretch out, refusing to give into the night, and the evening light settles into a warm golden glow. For me, June is a time of renewal, a deep breath before the summer rush, and on a personal note... the chance to blow out a few candles on a cake! 

It’s my birthday month, and I find myself looking forward to the unfolding season with a full heart, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for the beautiful spaces and lives we get to shape.

MY AMAZING PARENTS, FAMILY & FRIENDS : Thank You from the bottom of my heart for your endless love, encouragement, and patience. From my late nights in architecture school to running a thriving business today, you all have been my bedrock and my biggest cheerleaders. I wouldn't be standing exactly where I am today without you in my corner.

A BIRTHDAY EDIT : BEYOND THE TRENDS

After twenty-something years of listening to houses around the globe, I learned that great design is authentic and intentional, rooted in timelessness over fleeting trends. Looking back on that journey today, I’m sharing the 3 essential design elements that define my signature style and continue to fuel my creative soul :

 

Perhaps it’s my roots in India showing, but I am obsessed with hand-painted wallpapers & hand-loomed fabrics. They possess a "perfect imperfection" that machine-made products simply can’t mimic, bringing a grounding, human touch to a room.

 

 

Whether it's a global find, a well-loved piece of art, or a vintage treasure, I love adding that one piece that makes a new house feel like it has a lifetime of history, rather than just a collection of new things.

WHAT'S NEXT ON THE HORIZON …

Our summer calendar is bursting with energy. My team and I are diving into several remodel projects across the Austin area, while simultaneously mapping out staging transformations that will hit the market soon. Bringing these projects to life always reminds me why I love what I do.

At the end of the day, the ultimate goal never changes : Creating beautiful spaces where you feel most like yourself, where you can relax, and truly want to spend time. Sharing this joy with you through my designs is one of my favorite parts of running this studio.

So, here’s to another trip around the sun for me, and a beautiful start of summer for all of you!
