First, I need to say a HUGE thank you for the outpouring of responses
about my client's poem that I shared in the June Newsletter.

(If you missed it, do yourself a favor and check it out here!
I was blown away by her work and I think you will be too.)

Thank you to all of you who took the time to, not only read the work, but respond with how it made you feel.

It was a gift to be the conduit from her work to all of you.

Don't worry about it. I just have something in my eye.
This spring I had the chance to give a workshop in Vail in partnership with two incredible organizations: Mountain Youth and Body Kind Vail (shout out!).

To be speaking to parents and community organizers in the very town I grew up in was pretty wild for me. It was a full circle moment and I was so proud to be bringing this work to my hometown.

The talk is entitled:
“Nourishing the Whole Teen: Building Body Confidence and a Healthy Relationship with Food and Fitness”
and it is a compilation of my absolute favorite tools
 for parents, families and providers.

If you have ever wanted practical tools and a next-steps-plan to address eating, emotions, exercise and social media for your teen
as brought to you by a certified eating disorder specialist
and parent coach

I was also so lucky that they had a professional videographer to record the talk AND a translator so that the talk could also be presented and recorded in Spanish. (The lovely translator did tell me after that I spoke so fast I gave her a run for her money, so my apologies!)

I want to share
with you all today.
Very proudly, in both English and Spanish versions.

I also created a follow along handout so, while you are watching the talk, you can build your very own, individualized plan to “Nourish the Whole Teen” in your life.

Spanish Version
I have 2 additional handouts I created for this talk that are linked below,
also in English and Spanish.

I hope you enjoy the talk as much as I enjoyed giving it
and create your own “Nourish Your Teen” plan!

You've got this,
Bryn

PS: For all the providers out there,
I know first hand how hard it can be to find eating disorder-informed
psychoeducation materials in Spanish,
so please feel free to pass these along to families and providers that may benefit!
