In the 8-spoked Celtic Wheel of the year, we are approaching the Lughnasad festival, celebrated in honor of the Celtic Sun-God Lugh and his foster-mother Tailtiu. Astrologically, this is when the Sun reaches 15° Leo, half-way between Cancer Solstice and Libra Equinox. Shortly thereafter, on Aug 12, we come together in Spain to witness the spectacular Total Solar Eclipse. All of this is Leo season, Leo being a Fire Sign. And we continue our Re-Birthing Astrology project with the Leo Mystery School on August 1. Remember, in Chinese astrology, this is also the Year of The Fire Horse where 17th-century Edo period astrologers had it that "there are many fires in the year of the fire horse”.
