Â
One thing about me? I love getting the most out of my wardrobe. This monthly segment is all about showing you how to make your closet work harder by styling one key piece in fresh, unexpected ways. Whether itâs something you already own or something new youâve been eyeing, my goal is to help you see it through a new lens â and fall in love with it all over again.
Â
Because when you learn to style something like a staple, it becomes more than just a one-time wear. It turns into a go-to. A favorite. A piece that makes getting dressed easier (and way more fun).
Â
This Monthâs Styling Tip: the statement piece!
Â
Okayâbe honest with yourself. I KNOW somewhere in that closet of yours, youâve got a statement piece collecting dust. Maybe you bought it because you absolutely loved it, but somewhere along the way you decided it was too LOUD, too bold, or just a little too much for everyday wear. So to the back of the closet it went, waiting for that elusive âspecial occasion.â
But hereâs the thing: whatâs the point of owning something you love if youâre always waiting for the perfect excuse to wear it? And trust me, when that special occasion finally rolls around, thereâs a good chance those same thoughts will creep back in.Â
Â
Is this too extra? Am I going to stand out? Should I just wear something safer?
Â
Hear me out: LOUD doesnât necessarily mean center of attention. A statement piece can actually be incredibly wearable when you style it with intention. The trick isnât toning down the piece you fell in love withâitâs building an outfit around it that makes the boldness feel purposeful, effortless, and FUN.
Â
So as you read through this monthâs outfits, I want you to start thinking about that piece hiding in the back of your own closet. The skirt you ânever have anywhere to wear.â The jacket that feels like a little too much. The boots youâre saving for something special.
Pull. It. Out.
Â
Because weâre done waiting for an occasion to wear the clothes we love. The goal isnât to save our statement piecesâitâs to make them staples.
