Dr. Chan's plan going into 2024:
- detox remaining chemotherapy agents in the system
- focus on strengthening his immune system & vitality
- continue all supportive therapies at Integrative (IV Therapy, Acupuncture, Neuroptimal)
- return to regular nutrition programming and intermittent fasting
- re-integrate exercise routine with on-going tai chi and meditation
🧬 The immune system is vast, and is supported by many systems in the body.
Understanding how your immune system works is key to a preventative and supportive approach. Immune support is beneficial all year long for health aging, as well as during heightened seasons of cold and flu.
Inefficient nutrient levels or systemic oxygen can lead to/speed up the effects of a disease or illness. Often, nutrition with or without supplementation can be enough to bring your system back into harmony. But, depending on the severity or duration of the symptoms, you may need further intervention such as
Major Autohemo Therapy to improve oxygen utilization as well as benefit the immune system.
There was a lot of interest in intermittent fasting after Dr. Chan briefly mentioned this in his last video. Our fabulous
Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Rhiannon Lockhart, has written a blog on this very topic, you can check it out on the Integrative blog by
