DETOX
 
Ahhh you guys just coming off a three day water fast and I FEEL ahhhmazing within and talk about a clearrr 😌😌😌. Now, before I go any further. I am going to give a disclaimer to consult with a doctor and to do you research before attempting to do a water fast. For more detail and insight I am recommending a beautiful podcast by Andre on “Know Thyself” with Dr. Mindy Pelz. Where she does a amazing job with explaining the inner works of a water fast. Therefore, TRULY an amazing resource to start with.
 
Now getting back to it. I felt guided to do a water fast on this long weekend to solidify closing a chapter and while stepping into a new one. This is one of the ways I am able to let go and dive deeper with my inner self.  While getting clearer on FULLY embodying a creative lifestyle. Ya’ll SOOO EXCITED!!! 🥳🥳🥳. As this is my third time doing a water fast and it TRULY was an easeful one this go around.

And here are the steps I had taken before, during, and after.
*setting an intention for fast by defining my why - which was to let go and gain insight on the path moving forward
 
*Ensuring that I had 3 gallons of water, 4 bottles of 16.9 oz of coconut water, and herbal tea 
***listen to your body and determine what FEELS true for you. For me two gallons and 3 bottles of coconut water worked great for me. I also enjoy not doing much movement and BEING present in my space while fasting.
 
*Started each day with gratitude, meditation, affirmation cards, nourishing my mind with a podcasts, and working on creative projects.
 
*Today at 5:37pm I had chicken broth to ease myself back into eating. 
Around 7pm…I had my first meal of Pho 
- chicken, noodles, and veggies, fried veggie spring roll, and a cookie
 and so far my body is doing pretty well
 
*Incorporation moving forward is fasting about 15 hours a day before a meal - Dr. Mindy provides great insight on the benefits of doing this as well.

Ahhh I FEEL lighter within and I am TRULY grateful for this journey into this next chapter of Turina Nicole 😆😆😆. This fast taught me that I enjoy BEING present and when I am…I am able to tap into this creative flow and it‘s ahhh vib3 for sure. And I was able to hear myself out while gaining some clarity. #grateful While also gaining even more TRUST in the unknown of this thang called creative lifestyle. ☺️☺️☺️
 
So my loves, for this week, where in your life may you “detox” to make space for what is in alignment with and for you?
 
This year TRULY feels like it’s about the seeds that have been planted last year that are coming into fruition 🌼🌼🌼. So my loves, keep on nourishing those ideas, dreams, and intentions because TRULY anything is possible!!!✨✨✨
