There is a correction on Page 9 of the Wallflower pattern. Below Step 13, where it gives the finished and unfinished measurements of the Leaves unit, it should read “The Leaves unit will measure 9 ½” x 3" unfinished (Finished size is 9" x 2 ½").
Repeating the next two tips from last week (These tips can apply for all remaining units so keep that in mind with upcoming newsletters!) Cross out the colorway diagrams for the size you aren't making to avoid accidently pairing the wrong colors together.
You might find it helpful again to label the colorway diagrams with the colors used.
It is important to follow the pressing instructions/pressing arrows in the diagrams for this unit. The P piece/"stem" seams are especially important to press correctly since those seams will nest with the O piece seams later on in the pattern.
There are (15) P pieces cut from each color. In each of the colorways for the Leaves unit, (5) P pieces are used for the “stem” and the remaining (10) P pieces are used for the background. To avoid accidently sewing more than (5) P pieces for the “stem”, I recommend sorting the P pieces out beforehand.
