Hi First name / friend! 🤍

Are you new here? Or have you been around for a while? Either way, I am SO excited you’re here. Before you dive in, there’s one important thing you should know:

You’re going to see repeat pieces in this newsletter.

On purpose.

Because this space is all about making the most of what we already own. We repeat the items in our closets. We restyle them. We rework them. We wear them again and again — and that’s the whole point.

The pieces you intentionally choose for your wardrobe should work harder than one outfit. I promise you — almost everything in your closet can be styled more than one way.

And that’s what we do here.

So… are you ready for spring yet?? Is half the country still a frozen tundra or what is happening out there? We’re in weather bliss here in the PNW. I’ve lived here my entire life and I truly don’t remember a more mild winter.

Not rubbing it in, I promise 😂 Just here to give you hope — we are almost to the other side of this winter thing.

Longer days are coming.
Layers are getting lighter.
And yes… combat boots are staying.

style it like a
STAPLE

One thing about me? I love getting the most out of my wardrobe. This monthly segment is all about showing you how to make your closet work harder by styling one key piece in fresh, unexpected ways. Whether it’s something you already own or something new you’ve been eyeing, my goal is to help you see it through a new lens — and fall in love with it all over again.

Because when you learn to style something like a staple, it becomes more than just a one-time wear. It turns into a go-to. A favorite. A piece that makes getting dressed easier (and way more fun).

This Month’s Styling Feature: Combat Boots!

What comes to mind when you hear combat boots? If you’re like most people, you probably think fall. Pumpkin patches. Leather jackets. Moody outfits.

But here’s the thing — combat boots are wildly underrated the rest of the year. They should be a weekly staple. Truly. They’re that versatile.

And if you’re not wearing yours at least a handful of times a month… girl, what are we even doing?

So this month? We’re pulling them out and styling them for spring. Deal?
BEST EVER
eggless chocolate chip cookies

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup COLD unsalted butter cut into small cubes
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 servings bobs red mill egg replacer (follow instructions on back of package)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chip
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 410° F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the butter and both sugars with the paddle attachment on low speed for 30 seconds. Increase speed to medium and beat for another 30 seconds, then increase to high speed for a last 30 seconds. Mixture should be light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg replacer, scraping down the sides of the bowl with a spatula as needed, followed by the vanilla.
  4. Add in the cornstarch, baking soda, salt, and flour and mix on low speed until just incorporated.
  5. Add in the chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
  6. Refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes.
  7. Shape and stagger dough balls on one baking sheet, spacing about 3" apart.
  8. Bake for 10-13 minutes, one sheet at a time in the middle rack of the oven. Cookies should look cooked and be dry and have a duller finish on the outside while still looking soft and underdone on the inside. Start checking at the 10-minute mark as it is important not to over-bake these. Remember, cookies will continue to finish cooking on the baking sheet after being removed from the oven.
