WEEK 2 | the AUDACIOUS disciple
DAY 11: Serving Boldly

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” – 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

Serving others isn’t always glamorous, but it’s one of the boldest ways to live like Jesus. He washed His disciples’ feet, healed the sick, and fed the hungry, acts of love that required humility and courage. As disciples, we’re called to step out of our comfort zones and serve others fearlessly.

Sometimes serving boldly means saying “yes” when it’s inconvenient or going the extra mile for someone in need. It’s about seeing interruptions as divine opportunities and using your God-given gifts to make an impact. Remember, no act of service is too small when done in love.

Bold service also requires a heart that is open to being led by the Holy Spirit. It means being willing to see beyond yourself, recognizing needs that others may overlook, and responding with compassion. It’s in those moments of quiet obedience that God often works most powerfully, transforming not just the lives of those you serve but also your own. Serving boldly deepens your faith and allows you to experience the joy of being a vessel for God’s grace.

When you serve others boldly, you reflect Christ’s heart and plant seeds of hope. Whether it’s mentoring a struggling friend, volunteering at your church, or simply being present for someone who needs a listening ear, your service makes a difference. It’s audacious, it’s selfless, and it’s powerful.
