For the first time in 10 years since leaving Texas for Florida, I’m heading back home for Christmas Day! Earlier this year, I sold my mom’s house in Key West, and she moved back to our hometown of Lake Kiowa. I miss her so much, and I can’t wait to see her settled into this new chapter and spend the holidays together.
Aaron and I are also excited for a little change of pace and weather. As much as we love our usual Key West Christmas traditions, lounging with a couple of friends, cooking, and soaking up the island chill with our fur babies, we’re ready to switch it up this year. Cold weather and all the cozy Christmas vibes will be fun!

One of my favorite traditions to soak in the holiday spirit is getting aboard the Conch Tour Train's Holiday Sights and Festive Nights Tour! It’s a cozy, one-hour ride around the island featuring the most beautifully decorated homes and neighborhoods, holiday music, caroling, and even special holiday light glasses that make everything extra sparkly!
