Several years ago, I was in a really powerful online women's group with Asha Frost. She is an Indigenous Medicine Woman and member of the Chiopeways of Nawash First Nation, an author and speaker. I've experienced her as a teacher who is generous, kind-hearted, courageous and strong. I appreciate the way she shares her knowledge by weaving together storytelling, ancestral wisdom and calls for social justice.
Her book is wonderful to read chapter by chapter, following the moons each month. I also highly recommend the audiobook version as she narrates it herself and there are guided meditations/visualizations in each chapter.
Do you have flowers blooming right now? Which ones do you love? I was delighted to find Lupine in my garden this year for the first time, and the Irises that I found in a box for free two seasons ago have finally bloomed!
