hi there
kris here

Every Breath I'm able

She stood as she always does. Firmly. She rode every new wave as the ones she'd known in her body before, steady. For this child she had yearned, this child, all that she had prayed.

He stood beside her, her rock. He maintained every calm. He listened to her voice and he honored their journey and he reflected on how far, my God, just how far they'd come.
My dear friend grew into her motherhood, right before my eyes. I beamed with pride, this woman I loved at hello, decades before this part of her life.
Can you believe this is our life?
She sang "and all my life you have been faithful. And all my life you have been so, so good.

With every breath that I am able. Every breath I'm able.

"Hello! I'm thrilled to work with Mother of Ease.
I am currently a MPH student at UNC Charlotte with a particular interest in Maternal and Child Health. I am most excited to learn from Mrs.Kris and learn more about the services and support that exists for Black women and their families.
In a perfect world, bias wouldn't exist in the medical system and Black women would receive the same care as their counterparts without a worry in the world. During my time with MOE, I hope to grow within this community that truly champions each other's journeys and stands together for meaningful change."
